Volunteer opportunities are coming soon!

We believe that volunteering offers vital help to the Dear Neighbors of our community, but the benefits can be even greater for you, the volunteer.

Below are some opportunities that will be available at St. Joseph Neighborhood Center. 

Tutoring: Volunteers can assist women with subjects they may struggle with, providing one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions.

 Mentorship: Volunteers can serve as mentors to mothers, providing guidance, support, and advice on personal and academic matters.

 Career Counseling: Volunteers with expertise in different professions or industries can help students by offering advice on job searching interview skills and resume writing.

Skills Moderator: Volunteers can lead classes that will help empower these women. Some examples are: Financial Fitness, Business Writing 101, Workplace Etiquette, Public Speaking, Resume Writing, Interview Skills and more to be added.

Special Events: Volunteers can help organize and coordinate special events, such as fundraisers, and guest speaker events.

Technology Support: Volunteers with technical skills can assist with computer-related tasks, troubleshooting technology issues, or providing training on software and applications.
